This website is run by BESDALE LIFESTYLE PRODUCTS PRIVATE LIMITED, trading as THUUN, No. 393, WeWork Salarpuria Symbiosis, Arekere Village, Begur Hobli, Bannerghatta Road, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560076.
This notice explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It is written to be read, not skimmed past.
We do not treat browsing this site as consent. The analytics described below currently start when a page loads. Other information is collected when you choose to submit it or contact us.
Where things stand
THUUN is not yet selling anything. There is no shop and we take no payment on this site. You can join our waitlist and, if you choose, tell us a little more about your workday.
Before we collect anything new for bookings, we will update this notice.
What we collect, and why
If you join our waitlist: your email address. We use it to send you waitlist and launch updates, and other THUUN product updates you have asked to receive.
If you tell us a bit more, on the waitlist form or the "Tell us a bit more" page: your name, city, roughly how many long workdays you have in a month, and whether you would be open to a wear trial, and your mobile number if you say yes. We use this to understand the people we are building for and to choose people for our first wear trials. If you say yes to a trial, we may call or message you on that number about the trial, and about nothing else.
If you message us on WhatsApp or write to us: your number or email address, and what you tell us. We use it to answer you.
Please never send card or bank details on WhatsApp or by email. No one from THUUN will ever ask you for an OTP, a PIN or a card number by call, message or email. If someone claiming to be us does, it isn't us. Tell us.
When you browse: Google Analytics, Google Merchant Center measurement and Microsoft Clarity collect cookie or browser identifiers and information about page views, clicks, scrolls and similar interactions, so we can understand and improve the site.
Clarity also creates session replays by reconstructing page content and interactions such as clicks and scrolls. Clarity masks the contents of text input boxes in every masking mode, so the text you type there is not uploaded to Clarity.
These tools use cookies and similar technology. They currently start when a page loads. We do not use these analytics tools to identify you by name.
We do not collect payment details on this site, and we do not buy information about you from anyone.
Who else handles it
We use these service providers to host the site, manage communications, answer messages and measure site use:
- Shopify, for website hosting, forms and mailing-list management;
- Google, for Analytics and Merchant Center measurement;
- Microsoft, for Clarity;
- Meta, for WhatsApp; and
- Zoho, for our email.
Some of these providers process information outside India, including in the United States. Our Zoho Mail account is configured for Zoho's India data centre.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
We give information to the police, a court or another authority only when the law requires us to.
If THUUN is sold, merged or reorganised, personal information may transfer as part of that transaction. We will update this notice and ask for any consent the law requires before any new use.
How long we keep it
Your email address: until you unsubscribe, ask us to stop sending updates, or ask us to erase it, subject to any limited record we must keep by law. If three years pass with no order, reply or other direct contact from you, we will send one reminder and remove you from our marketing list 30 days later unless you ask to stay.
Your "Tell us a bit more" answers: until twelve months after our first wear trials end, unless the law requires a limited record for longer.
Your WhatsApp messages and emails to us: normally for two years after our last contact, unless the law requires a limited record for longer.
Site statistics: for the Google Analytics property we control, user-level and event-level data is set to 14 months. Clarity keeps session playback for 30 days. A small sample of sessions, any sessions we mark, and heatmap and click data may be kept for up to 13 months.
What you can ask us to do
You can ask us at any time to:
- give you a summary of the personal information we hold about you and, where applicable, the organisations we have shared it with;
- correct or update it;
- erase personal information we can link to you, except information we must keep by law; or
- stop optional uses of it, including marketing.
We aim to complete an erasure request within 30 days. If the law requires us to keep a limited copy or processing log, we restrict it to that purpose.
Because our analytics identifiers are not linked in our systems to your email address or phone number, we may not be able to find a particular analytics record from those details.
You can withdraw an optional consent by using the unsubscribe link or writing to us by email or WhatsApp. We stop the optional use, but may keep or use information where the law requires or permits it.
We reply within a month. Before we show or erase anything, we may ask you to write from the email address or number you gave us, so we know it is you.
You may also tell us who should act for you if you die or become unable to act for yourself.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, tell us first. When the relevant provisions of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act come into force, you may also take a qualifying complaint to the Data Protection Board of India after using our grievance process.
You can also block cookies in your browser. Before bookings open, we will add a site control for non-essential analytics.
Children
Our forms are intended for adults aged 18 or older, and we do not knowingly ask children to give us personal information.
If you think a child has sent us personal information, tell us. We will stop using it and handle it as the law requires.
Keeping it safe
We take reasonable care to protect your information.
If a personal data breach affects you and the law requires us to tell you, we will tell you without delay what happened and when, what information was affected, what it could mean for you, what we are doing about it, what you can do, and how to reach us.
How to reach us
For anything about your information, whether a question, a correction or a request to erase it, write to contact@thuun.in. A real person reads it.

Changes to this notice
If we change this notice, we will update the date at the top.
If a change materially affects how we use personal information you have already given us, we will tell you before that new use begins and ask for fresh consent where the law requires it.
Earlier versions are available from us on request.
